Marijuana dispensary in California: what should you know?

California has been one of the first states that were at the forefront of legalizing marijuana for different purposes. Thus it is no surprise that the state is one of the largest manufacturers and consumers of marijuana in the US. The legal ground for the dealing of marijuana means an opportunity and a platform for the businesses, retailers, distributors, and consumers to have a successful running marijuana industry in the state. There are several things that go into a successful business model. The support of the government, the favorable conditions – both economic and otherwise, and the market infrastructure all play a key part in the eventual success or failure of the industry.

The marijuana industry ticks most of these boxes in California however there are still some deficiencies and challenges that need to be tackled for the full potential of the industry to thrive and grow in the state. For instance, the existence of the black market is a dent in any industry and the marijuana market is no different. However, the presence of a good consumer market, favorable conditions for the growth of cannabis, and the legalization of marijuana in the state all provide a good reason for businesses and individuals to start the marijuana business and dispensaries in the state of California.
